Updated Trail Conditions

We would like to thank the Friends of Bradbury Mountain and our dedicated volunteers for their continuing efforts to help improve the Park for all visitors!

The incredible summer weather continues to provide excellent conditions on all of our trails.  We have not had one day of trails being shut down since we opened in the spring!

As of September 6th

Trail Conditions
Knight Woods Open to bikes and horses
Link & Snowmobile Trail Open to bikes and horses
Fox Run Open to bikes and horses
Ginn Open to bikes and horses
Ragan Open to bikes and horses
Lanzo Open to bikes and horses
Northern Loop Open to bikes and horses
Tote Road Open to bikes and horses
Boundary Open to bikes and horses

Designated trails are currently OPEN to bikes and horses. All trails are always open to foot traffic.  Dogs are allowed in the park and on trails if on a leash, under restraint, and cleaned up after.  Thank you!

Please ride through any mud and not around it. This will help to preserve the soils and environment to the sides of the trails.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who are currently working on the trails that they have "adopted" for the season!  Many improvements have been made and more are planned for 2010.  Happy Trails to you!

Even limited use of closed trails causes further damage to your trails.  Please pass the word.  Also, please note that the only authorized access to the trails is through the main gate at Bradbury Mountain State Park.  Parking along Route #9 or in the church parking lot to avoid paying the entrance fee is legally considered a theft of services. The park closes at sunset, daily.

NOTE: The Department of Conservation (Bradbury Mountain) is working to provide planning and direction for our entire trail system.  This includes development of a trail from the park boundary, across Tryon Mountain, across the CMP corridor to Pineland. There has been an advisory committee formed, by invitation, from the various user groups interested in our trails. The mountain bike community does have a voice on this committee.  We expect to begin work on the Bradbury to Tryon section of trail this season.  Thank you for your patience during this time, and please contact the park if you have any questions.
